Jason McPhail

Jason, co-owner of Miller & McPhail, CPAs, is a lifetime resident of southeast Tennessee. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan College. He has over 20 years of experience in private and public accounting.

Jason's professional experience includes working in both national and regional accounting firms. He developed a strong and diverse background in tax compliance and consulting in a variety of industries. His primary areas of expertise include construction, manufacturing, private equity groups, Internal Revenue Service representation, and individual tax planning. Jason's private industry experience includes having served as a controller of a wholesale oil distributor and director of tax for an insurance company. 

Jason is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting, and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a board member and on the Executive Committee as Vice President of the Springbrook Golf and Country Club. He likes to spend time with his family and friends playing golf, skiing, and wake boarding on the lake with his Bernedoodle Lucy.
